Yesterday was by 56th Birthday...I'm Still Here

Yesterday was my 56th Birthday and I thought everyone forgot.  Well, I didn't realize that my family didn't call me because they wanted me to sleep late.  When I check on Facebook, there were over 50 birthday wishes and by the end of the day, they reached almost 100! That wasn't including all the people that liked the comment I posted, "I'm thankful on my 56th birthday that God gave me another year on this beautiful world and that I'm sharing my time here with my parents who are both healthy, my three beautiful sisters, and my husband John surviving another stroke has make me thankful that I am still healthy and able to fight his battles.  I have many other family members and friends that stay in touch through Facebook, and I'm thankful for this page that reminds me that I have a lot to be thankful for!"

The page I referred to was Grateful for the Little Things page on Facebook where I first made this post.  I had no idea so many people would respond to that too. Last night, I was eating dinner with my sister and John at the Izumi Hibachi Grill when the staff come over singing Happy Birthday.  They gave me these funny glasses that said Happy Birthday and lit up, and I put them on and laughed like crazy.  My sister Nancy took my picture which I don't usually like but I was enjoying myself so it turned out nice.  Sadly, I didn't get to keep the glasses.  The most surprising thing was that I posted a picture of myself which I very rarely do and I had a lot of comments and likes for the picture!
